Walking This Way

When we get desperate for Jesus our lives will changes and we will have a completely different outlook on our live, our homes, our community. Satan is a roaring loin seeking who he can devour.  We must be ready to defeat him with the word of God in our lives.  Get Desperate for Jesus

Learning to stand on the word of God is vital to our spiritual walk.  Trying to run and tell people about the Lord before he has sent us is always a mistake.  We want to tell of the goodness of god, but we first must learn to stand for Jesus before we can walk for him.

WE all go through hard times and it feels like we are walking through a hard, ruff valley of sorrow and pain.  But we need to remember if we call on Jesus we never walk alone and when we reach the end of our valley if we look back we will see that Jesus has replaced our valley of sorrow with a valley of beautiful flowers.  Remember even flowers grown in the valley.

How many lies to we have to listen to before we start to believe.  Satan in the master of lies and he will try and destroy our life if we listen to.  Jesus gives us strength to overcome the lies and shows us who we really are and that we are stronger than we think we are.  

When a soldier in combat feels like the enemy is gaining on him, he will dig a hole to give him temporary cover from the enemy, but he can't stay there long because the enemy will find him and try to destroy him.  We as Christians have an enemy who will try to destroy us his name is Satan and sometimes we would like to just hide in a hole where he can't find us.  but he always does.  We have to get out of our hole and remind ourselves we are more than conquerors in Christ.  Jesus is stronger than Satan and we were made to be overcomers.  Don't hide call on the one who is Stronger call on Jesus.

when we were children, we played children's games, hiding from our friends hoping to the winner because no one could find us was fun as a child.  But as we got older we need to stop playing children's games and run to Jesus.  We can never be a winner as long as we hide from the Lord.  Instead of trying to hide from him we need to run to him and fall in his arms.  

Before we were born Jesus  had a design for our lives.  And if we stay within the outline laid before by God our life's picture will turn out beautiful but if we go pass the outline to do our own thing then our picture will be a mess of thread that defines nothing.  Staying inside the outline is the only way our life turns out to glorify JEusus.

Life is full of potholes and detour signs.  But the Lord has set us on a pathway and to turn from his pathway on to another is taking a detour that won't end well.  Satan has many detours for us if we will take them but the only lead to heartache and destruction.  Strait is the path that leads to heaven.  Don't let the glitter and bright lights of the detour path confuse you.  All you hope is in Jesus so stay on the path.

When life gets overwhelming do we praise and worship the Lord in the face of our problems or do we let our struggles overtake us.  Paul and Silas sang and praised and worshiped Jesus in the mist of the jail and Jesus turned their problem into a victory.  We too can praise and worship in the mist of our problems if we just put Jesus first.

When we start each and every day we need to start with a praise of Look what the Lord has done.  We get up, we have food, we had rest we have what we need in our lives.  Look what the Lord has done.
