Walking This Way

When we are traveling sometimes we get in a hurry to reach our destination and we keep asking are we there yet and then get frustrated when the answer is no because we want things right now. But God timing is different from ours and he knows how and when the time is right.  But we must keep walking keep praying and thanking him for the answer, because the answer is coming our journey will be richer because we waited on the Lord. 

This lesson isn't so much about Moses but about the faith of his mother.  Standing on faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.  Standing on faith in the face of unbearable odds but with God working behind the scenes, all things are possible.

When we are facing a problem or wanting to make a change in our lives but fear or doubt has stopped us.  Remember David the shepherd boy who faced the giant and took him down.  Don't let Satan be the giant in you life who stops you from getting to God

Everything in this life has a beginning and when we make a mistake or struggle in our walk with the Lord and we want to give up.  We need to look back at the beginning of when we first came to the Lord.  What our life was like before Jesus, see how far we have come in the Lord.  We can't let a mistake stop us from our walk.  The Lord is there to forgive and restore as long as we keep trying and trusting in him

One little boy was willing to share his lunch of 2 small fish and 5 small pieces of bread and the Lord took it and blessed it and it feed over 5000 people with 12 baskets left over.  If one little boy was willing to step out and allow God to do a might miracle why can't we do the same with using our life experience to help feed someone else life.  Trust in what God has called us to do and let him bless it.

Would you buy a house where the foundation is weak and crumbing, sinking and the structural integrity is questionable.  The answer is no. no one would.  But have you checked the integrity of your spiritual foundations?  Bones of your spiritual walk, are you strong in the Lord.  IF not then we are in danger of the floods of the world washing us away.  Now is the time to check our spiritual bones.

When have a need and we take to the Lord in prayer, do we really believe that he will answer or prayer?  Do we doubt and question.? And when the answer comes are we surprised?  When we pray we must pray with the expectation of an answer for the Lord.  For he is a God of impossible situations.

A lot of times we feel like before we can go to church, we have to clean up our lives to present ourselves to the Lord.  But Jesus already knows what we look like and he isn't interested on what we look like on the outside but what is on the inside.  Only Jesus can clean us up on the inside, but we have to be willing to let him have control of our lives.  And once we do he will bring beauty into our hearts, minds and rest to our weary life.

With the way the world is today it is easy for us to feel worthless and unable to be loved.  But God came to seek us out to bring love and salvation into our hearts and lives.  What do you think the cost of being loved by God would be?

This lesson is about not getting caught in the things of the world that doesn't belong in the life of a Christian.  We call it clutter and we need to get rid of it out of our life's so that it doesn't prevent us from doing what the Lord called us to do
