When David came out of the valley he found that the Lord had set a table for him in the presence of his enemies ..  The very ones that were trying to destroy him.  But more than that David found that the Lord had gone from being just his shepherd to being his friend.  The one who kept him safe from harm.  We to can be kept from our enemies by standing on the word of God and letting him fill us up to overflowing.

David knew that by following the voice of God, The Lord would restore his weary soul and bring him rest and strength.  God would lead him on the paths to righteousness.  We need to listen from the voice of God and seek his path for us so we too can gain rest for our souls and find the righteousness of our lives that Jesus has for us.

Getting forgiveness if hard when we have to ask for it.  But if we are the ones to have to give it, it can be even harder, because if we say I forgive you then we must let go of the hurt.  God forgave us for our wrongs, and we are required to do the same of those who do wrong against us.  We want to be a good Christian, and Christian means to be CHRIST LIKE.  We must follow the example of Jesus and forgive with our whole heart.
